This painting suffered quite severe paint loss due to damp storage conditions over an extended period.  The
painting was carefully cleaned to remove dirt that had become ingrained in the surface. The areas of missing paint were leveled with filler and in-painted to tie them together with the undamaged portions. The painting was finished with a new varnish which both protects and enhances the original colors.
